CALGARY DOLLARS
Calgary Dollars is an alternative currency, unique to YYC! Keep the circular economy going, and use Calgary Dollars at the Farmers’ Market.
Several of our vendors accept a portion of sales in Calgary Dollars. As a market, we accept up to 50% of our vendor fees in Calgary Dollars. The Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association will also host Calgary Dollar Community Markets!
CJSW
CJSW Radio is one of Calgary’s only independent media outlets and is Calgary’s only campus & community radio station. Based at the University of Calgary located on Treaty 7 land, CJSW operates as a non-profit society. They're made up of a small team of staff and a large dedicated volunteer base. They broadcast over 110 music, spoken word and multicultural programs in more than 10 languages.
You can find CJSW on site with us at market from time to time occupying a booth space, or even broadcasting live. Stop by to say hey, grab a pin, and buy your Friends of CJSW card!
